Mr. Cooney called the regular January meeting of the Town of Watertown Zoning Board of Appeal to order at 7:00 p.m.

Motion 1-23: Motion by Mr. Cooney, seconded by Mrs. Knapp to accept the minutes of the December 5, 2022 meeting as written and distributed.

Ayes All: Motion Carried.

Motion 2-23: Motion by Mr. Cooney, seconded by Mr. Dulmage to schedule all regular meeting of the Town of Watertown Zoning Board of Appeals in 2023 for the first Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m.

Ayes All: Motion Carried.

VARIANCE REQUEST

Norman Smith – 25492 East Gotham Road – Tax Map #91.07-1-5 – Variance Request of Side Setback Requirements to Construct a 12′ x 25′ Shed-Style Trailer Port. A Public Hearing needs to be scheduled.

Mr. Smith presented proposed plans to construct a 12′ x 25′ shed-style trailer port at 25492 east Gotham Road, Tax Map #91.07-1-5. Zoning requires a 30′ side setback off the property line. The plans show a 24′ side setback off the property line. Discussion followed.

Motion 3-23: Motion by Mr. Dulmage, seconded by Mr. Cooney to schedule a public hearing for Norman Smith, 25492 East Gotham Road for a variance requested of side setback requirements for the construction of a 12′ x 25′ shed-style trailer port on Monday, February 6, 2023 at 7:00 p.m.

Ayes All: Motion Carried.

Innovative Tinting Solutions – 18849 US Route 11, Suite D – Tax Map #91.09-1-8.21 – Variance Request of Front Setback Requirements for Signage. A Public Hearing Needs to be Scheduled.

No one was present.

Motion 4-23: Motion by Mr. Dulmage, seconded by Mr. Cooney to adjourn the meeting at 7:15 p.m.
