Mr. Lanham callled the rescheduled regular meeting of the Town of Watertown Zoning Board of Appeals to order at 5:30 p.m.

Motion 5-15: Motion by Mr. Porter, seconded by Mr. Dulmage to accept the minutes of the March 4, 2015 meeting as written and distributed.

Ayes All: Motion Carried.

PUBLIC HEARING

Morgan Development – County Route 202 – Tax Map #82.11-1-35.221 – Variance request of setback requirements to allow subdivision for financing purposes.

The public hearing was opened at 5:31 p.m.

Ida Hunter and her son Nathan Hunter, 20966 NYS Route 12F were present. They ask to see the proposed plans. The board stated that the variance request deals with setbacks within the proposed project and does not deal with setbacks near their property line.

The Hunter’s expressed concerns over the minimum setback requirements on the plans. They would like to see more than the minimum requirement and possibly a fence where their property meets this proposed project . Board members stated that the Hunter’s should approach the Town of Watertown Planning Board and/or Town Board to discuss these concerns with them.

The public hearing was closed at 5:38 p.m.

VARIANCE REQUEST

Morgan Development – County Route 202 – Tax Map #82.11-1-32.221 – Variance request of setback requirements to allow subdivision for financing purposes.

The board reviewed the proposed plans.

Motion 6-15: Motion by Mr. Dulmage, seconded by Mr. Porter to grant a setback variance for Route 202 East Apartments, Tax Map #82.11-1-35.221, as shown on a plans prepared by LaFave, White & McGivern, dated 1/30/14.

Ayes All: Motion Carried.

Motion 7-15: Motion by Mr. Cooney, seconded by Mr. Porter to adjourn the meeting at 5:45 p.m.

Ayes All: Motion Carried.
