Mr. Wormwood called the regular October meeting of the Town of Watertown Zoning Board of Appeal to order at 7:00 p.m.

Motion 17-22: Motion by Mr. Wormwood, seconded by Mrs. Kiernan to accept the minutes of the September 12, 2022 meeting as written and distributed.

Ayes All: Motion Carried.

PUBLIC HEARING – VARIANCE REQUEST

Yvonne Brown – 22163 Swan Road – Tax Map #91.19-1-25 – Variance Request of Front and Side Setbacks to Construct a 28′ x 35′ Garage.

Legal notice was published in the newspaper and evidence was provided that adjacent property owners were notified.

The public hearing was opened at 7:00 p.m. No one from the public wished to speak.

A letter dated 8/2/22 from John Stone, (Attachment #1), 22119 Swan Road was entered into record. Mr. Stone has no opposition to this variance request.

The public hearing was closed at 7:01 p.m.

VARIANCE REQUEST

Yvonne Brown – 22163 Swan Road – Tax Map #91.19-1-25 – Variance Request of Front and Side Setbacks to Construct a 28′ x 35′ Garage.

The Board review the plans to construct a 28′ x 35′ garage at 22163 Swan Road, Tax map #91.19-1-25. Discussion followed.

Motion 18-22: Motion by Mr. Wormwood, seconded by Mrs. Knapp to grant a left side setback variance at 7′ off the side lot line, 30′ is required and front setback variance at 37′ from the front lot line, 40′ is required to Yvonne Brown, 22163 Swan Road, Tax Map #91.19-1-25 for the construction of a 28′ x 35′ garage.

Ayes All: Motion Carried.

Motion 19-22: Motion by Mr. Wormwood, seconded by Mrs. Knapp to adjourn the meeting at 7:10 p.m.
