Mr. Boxberger called the special meeting of the Town of Watertown Planning Board to order at 8:33 a.m.
SUBDIVISION
Zircon Development (Nice N Easy) – 21603 NYS Route 12F & Corner of Salmon Run Mall Road – Tax Map #82.08-1-18 – 2 Lot Subdivision.
Howard Lyndaker, GYMO, submitted updated plans for a 2 lot subdivision for Zircon Development (Nice N Easy), 21603 NYS Route 12F & Corner of Salmon Run Mall Road.
The updated plans include lot descriptions and an access easement agreement as requested by the board at the May 2nd meeting. The Valentine’s will need to come back for site plan review for parcel #2 when the plans are finalized. Discussion followed.
Motion 35-16: Motion by Mrs. Desormo, seconded by Mr. Boxberger, to approve a 2 lot subdivision for Zircon Development, located at 21603 NYS Route 12F, Tax Map #82.08-1-18 as shown on plans drawn by LaFave, White & McGivern dated 5/9/16, File #2016Z-01, Sheet 1 of 1. Lot #1 consisting of 1.54 acres, Lot #2 1.66 acres, conditional upon satisfactory review of lot descriptions and the access easement agreement.

SITE PLAN
BJ Alan Phantom Fireworks – Request to set up a temporary tent at Plaza at Salmon Run (K Mart Parking Lot).
A representative from BJ Alan Phantom Fireworks submitted a completed application, sign permit and proposed plans for a temporary tent to sell sparklers and novelty items from June 20th to July 5th in the Plaza at Salmon Run (K Mart Parking Lot).
The plans included a layout of the tent, proposed lighting, all required licenses, and a security container which will be used to store all inventory when they are closed. Discussion followed.
The board would like to area coned off 10′ around the tent.

Motion 36-16: Motion by Mr. Boxberger, seconded by Mr. Vaas to waive site plan requirements for BJ Alan Phantom Fireworks for a temporary tent to sell sparklers and novelty items at the Plaza at Salmon Run (K Mart Parking Lot) due to the short duration of the event and minimal impact on parking. This event will run from 6/18/16 to 7/17/16. This is conditional upon signage approval and submission of copies of written notification to both the Town of Watertown Fire Department and Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department notifying them of this event and its duration.

Motion 37-16: Motion by Mr. MacAdam, seconded by Mr. Boxberger to adjourn the meeting at 8:50 a.m.
